The pictures of this rental are accurate but misleading. The rental is two completely separate units separated by two flights of stairs. Also, the price you pay for those views in the pictures is steep. It’s 106 steps to the first unit (no views) and another 47 steps to the second unit with the views. It’s really 2 bathrooms, not 3. The first unit has two toilets and 2 showers in it but within the same room. The location is in the heart of Centro Storico with great food, shops, the Duomo and Spaccanapoli just steps away. We didn’t mind the gritty location as another reviewer put it but If you want a cleaner, quieter neighborhood you may want to look for places elsewhere in Naples.

BEWARE. The description and photos are deceiving. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR AND IT IS 6 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. The housekeeper and her assistant met us at the property and proceeded to attach our luggage to a dodgy hook and cable, manually pulling the luggage, piece by piece, to the top floor. There were 2 more fights of stairs once inside the apartment. If you like a stairmaster workout, this is the place for you. The place was clean, technically. It was hard to tell because the place is so run down. The property owner did move us to another suitable apartment for the same price. He did ultimately make things right.

This is a great place. Right in the gritty heart of Naples. The famous da Michelle pizza place is a block or two away, the Duomo is right down the street. Great shopping and food right outside your doorstep. The air conditioning is great which is a must for Naples in the summer. I don’t know if it was clear that the rooftop apartment and the lower apartment were disconnected but the space is awesome. Would definitely recommend if families are in Naples, certainly those with teens.
