Enjoy some home cooked lunch with enviable uninterrupted sea views at Wisemans Bridge Inn, which is only a few minutes drive away. Here, you can dine above the sandy beach and unwind and relax after you have explored the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. A great day out for all ages is Folly Farm Zoo which is so close you can see the ferris wheel light up on an evening, complete with a host of animals, which is sure to keep the family entertained, or for thrill seekers, Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is within a 10-minute drive.

Travelling south, discover the picture postcard, walled town of Tenby, where you can explore the cobbled streets, the many galleries or build sandcastles with your children on the magnificent South Beach. Further around this sublime coastline is the harbour town of Saundersfoot, where you can enjoy fish and chips on the harbour walls looking out towards Worms Head and the Gower Peninsula. There is a host of local attractions for your family, including Manor House Wildlife Park, or for those rare rainy days, you may prefer the indoor water park that is Blue Lagoon, a 10-minute drive away.
