This spacious summer retreat has been arranged to offer a great beach vacation for a large family or group reunion in the great Bonnet Shores section of Narragansett. It has five queen bedrooms, as well as a large rec room downstairs with additional sleeping space (queen air mattresses are provided) for a total capacity of 14 people. (Please note that for additional guests over 10, the air mattresses as well as sheets and towels are available for an additional fee.) The kitchen has new granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and is stocked with the essentials for great meals together; and the outdoor deck with bbq grill offers additional seating and fun. The bathrooms have new vanities, mirrors, and lighting. There should be no issues getting ready for a day at the beach, or a special event.
The house sits on a large lot, just one house away from the dead end of the street, with a seemingly endless green wooded space, so there is quiet and privacy. Bonnet’s Kelly Beach is just a little over one mile away, and the Shuttle bus that runs on weekends will take you there and back (there is no parking at this beautiful cove-type beach except for bicycles, and drop offs are allowed and common.) A 5-minute drive will take you to famous Narragansett Pier with its many wonderful restaurants, the Towers, the sea wall, and of course Narragansett Town Beach. The state beaches are another 5-10 minutes away for additional options. The Narrow River is close by for those interested in a different water option, including kayaking and paddle-boarding. In the opposite direction, historic Newport is just a 20 minute drive, and you can also get to Providence and the WaterFire events in 25 minutes.
