My understanding is the hotel was opened approx. December 2024 so everything was nice and new. Never found complimentary coffee in the lobby on any morning. pay/order at the bar. Hotel is situated between several roadways. I heard vehicle noise in the room day and night.

Needs some work

When I got there, everybody was very nice and friendly. Room was nice the next morning I walked down and I hear the people at the desk talking badly about another customer loudly enough for everyone else to hear. My stay was from Friday until Monday my room never got cleaned. I had to ask them on Sunday if the maid could come and clean the room. She did but all she did was change out the trash and put a few towels did not put an extra toilet paper, which by Sunday night all the toilet paper was gone through. The picture provided was the lobby restrooms, which is unacceptable. Those should always be clean. And even Monday morning by 10 AM elevator floors were sticky and as you exit the first floor, there was some liquid spilled that had still not been cleaned up.

The room was nice looking. Bed was not comfortable. The lobby and bar area and elevators and halls too strong smell of air freshener, perfume, I'm sensitive to that. No room service or much of restaurant. Location was good.

Nice hotel, valet services overpriced

I enjoyed my stay at Caption. Clean rooms, convenient location, nice front desk staff. I was not so happy about the Valet. The parking garage they use is serviced by Metropolis so if you have an account you will be charged because it scans your tag. On top of paying $60/night Valet I was also charged $42/night through the garage services. I was told it would be refunded within 3-5 business days it has now been 8 days. I’ve called twice now and still haven’t received my refund. Paying over $200 in parking fees is absolutely ridiculous. If you’re going to use a parking garage that charges then you should have the option to self park.
