Continental breakfast was good, a lot of options. Front desk staff not very helpful with providing information regarding local church services for my mom, who was also on the trip. Internet / wi-fi was spotty and was very difficult to search anything on the internet. The business center computer was antiquated, running Windows 10. My spouse needed to work during this trip and without internet options inside the facility, he needed to drive to a local spot for access. When asked, the staff all replied the same - nobody's internet worked. They had no solution.

The front desk person was not friendly or accommodating in any way. The rooms seemed clean, but there was a very musty smell in the halls and room. The location was perfect for us. It was close to food options and about 20 minutes from downtown area.

Not sure why this place is rated so high on Hotels.com. Sure the staff are nice and it’s cleanish, but it’s at a freeway overpass by a motel 6 and a hooters…that should say enough. Beds were uncomfortable and way too bouncy…if you’re sleeping with someone else, you may get bounced off the bed if they move even slightly. Breakfast was horrible. Usual fare but tasted old and overcooked.

At check in I was met by an angry and condescending woman. I wasn’t prepared for that level of disrespect. At best the other front desk staff were indifferent. NOT a good look ! The room had the stench of curry and cooking residue. I asked for a room change and told to come back the next day and ask again.- The Internet service at best was unreliable and when I inquired why, I was told it’s always that way ! ie: They know all about it so put up and shut up.

It was OK to have a place to stay. It’s hardly a destination, but the room was fine. The night staff couldn’t care less about check-in or a guest’s needs. Arrived and my “Hello, how are you…” was interrupted with a curt “LASTNAME?” And was rushed through the check-in process with no friendliness whatsoever. And one night, just after midnight, I went to purchase some bottled water (from the only vending machines in the three-floor building) and they were out. A trip to the front desk found it unattended, so I waited a few minutes for someone to notice me on the security camera. When no one showed up, I said toward the back office “Anyone here?” And then a woman appeared wearing a shower cap (it appeared I had awakened her) and I’d noticed that there were some bottles of water behind the front desk. I told her that the machines were out and was about to offer to purchase one of the bottles I’d seen, but she disappeared and reappeared down the hall heading for the machines. I called after her that they were sold out, but she decided she was going to see if I was mistaken. She did what I did (paid with her phone and then saw it was indeed sold out and cancelled the transaction). Before I could offer to purchase a bottle from the front desk, she was headed back to the office, calling over her shoulder that there was no water available at the front desk. Not a very happy person. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
