Cozy 2 room cabin/apt, part of a larger ranch house divided into two cabins) a in pristine valley 8 miles from Franklin & 20 from N'ville. Kitchenette. Outside hottub is private by appt ($75 fee for cleaning & setup, requires 12 hours advance notice). Many hiking trails. Cute farm animals next door. Back patio has wonderful views and tables/ barbecue. Draw water from an old-fashioned well! Explore the creek or lake. Walk to lake or organic farm just up the road. Meet Winston the Cow, Donkey, and piggies! 2 night min
The Space:
The house, which stands alone in a large valley. Adjacent to private farm with cute farm animals. The ranch house is subdivided into two cabin/apartments, each with its own private entrance and access to the outside hot tub. Very fast data and internet available via fiberoptic cable
The Neighborhood:
This lodging is part of the Fork Inn, which lies at the beginning of a pristine creek within a gorgeous valley. All Fork Inn guests may walk around Lake Gratitude, explore miles of hiking trails and creek, and use our stock-tank pools at the farm shelter.
Enjoy biking, hiking, canoeing, massage, yoga and more! Nearby Big East Fork Farms downstream provides organic produce.
We are located 20 miles from downtown Nashville, 8 miles from historic Franklin (old time Main Street, fancy restaurants, boutique shopping), 7 miles from Leiper's Fork (Distillery tours, Fox & Locke Live Music - don't miss Thursday night's open mic) and light years away from the stress of city life. The Fork Inn is part of a 2000-acre Conservation easement and features a 8-acre lake, miles of creek, and many meadows and hiking trails. There is bicycle and walking access onto the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway within a mile. We are adjacent to the Center for Sustainble Stewardship with has many hiking trails, bicycles, and an organic farm. Meet Rosie the Donkey, Winston the cow, and the piggies !
