The problem with SpringHill Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown Convention Center is poor design of room and very weak internet access. The room was clean, well appointed and very nice, but who puts a frosted glass bathroom door that shines directly onto the beds whenever someone uses the bathroom while others are sleeping? Also, please don't advertise free wifi if it's so weak that you can't explore the area around you on google maps or even play games on your tablet. Staff was great, valet parking wonderful and the hotel is situated such that you have walking access to many attractions/events in the area.

My stay was great. From arrival to departure, valet made parking easy and the staff was warm and welcoming at the Front desk. The attendants at breakfast were also very kind. I was pleased to see vegetarian options, as well.

Other than the location, this hotel doesn’t have much going for it. It’s impossible to talk to anyone at the front desk, the breakfast was awful, and the room was dimly lit and poorly cooled/heated.
