5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in 12 South!

We stayed at the Gilmore Hotel over the 4th of July weekend for a couples trip, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful—every interaction felt personal and genuinely kind. The hotel itself is in an unbeatable location, right in the heart of 12 South. We loved being able to walk to great restaurants, shops, and coffee spots, then come back to a quiet and peaceful room that felt like a true retreat. The rooms are brand new and beautifully designed. Ours had a really thoughtful layout, modern touches, and a cozy yet upscale vibe. We were especially impressed by how quiet the hotel was despite the central location—it made for a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring Nashville. Highly recommend the Gilmore for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable stay with an unbeatable neighborhood vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved the property. The only reason I did not give it five stars as I found the shower cool and could not get it hot enough. Room was fantastic, staff were very helpful and walkable to so many restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Would recommend.
