Blue Horizon Villa

Overall, it was an amazing getaway. Great location. Very responsive host and concierge service.We would have enjoyed spending more time using the private club facilities around the Pink Octopus, but we were informed that membership dues are in arrears, so we were refused entry. Also, there was a good deal of wear and tear (patio railings rotted, broken toilet seats, loose electrical connection to the disposal, etc.) which was a bit disappointing at this price point.

Beachfront Beauty - But Needs a Facelift

We stayed in this property with friends & pooled our collective thoughts to deliver the most fair review - we think there are some details we missed, and some the property managers should consider - so we'd think of this in two parts: What the owner should consider to make it a better experience, and what potential renters should know before booking.Areas to improve:-Kitchen: every drawer in the refrigerator was broken, the freezer was leaking water (they were communicative and pending a repairman), vent over stove didn't work, kitchen faucet sprayed haphazardly-General: Overhead light out in the second floor bedroom (offered to come fix, but felt unnecessary during our stay), broken lounge chair, beer cans under the porch, grill was extremely wobbly & outdoor dining table was held steady w/ wedge beneath one foot. The most concerning was the state of the 2nd floor balcony - rusty/broken spindles need to replaced.Consider When Renting :-There are plentiful types of coffee makers - Keurig, Nespresso and regular brewed options! -The property had plentiful towels and beach toys, and use of the washer/dryer pods to make it functional were great-There is no safe-The property team allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day before our driver could fetch us for the airport - this was a huge help.Ultimately, we know that staying in a rented home has pros and cons, and we just feel like with some TLC, this will make for a superior experience for guests.

Beautiful home on beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed condo. Directly on the beach, it slept the 6 of us comfortably. The beach is almost private and it's very close to the marina and beach club which are both very nice. The restaurant is very nice as well. About 20 minutes to Atlantis, and 30 minutes to Baha Mar, it was easy for us to drive there in the evenings for dinner and fun. If you are looking for serene resort to stay away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you.
