Only con: The rooms are way too cold ( no heat only AC) and the lobby is freezing. In February the temperature is max 65 degrees. The hotel was colder than outside. My family all got a cold. Otherwise, its amazing and very beautiful as it has been since I was young. Remodeled British Colonial is breathtaking.

Great Property, What a great transformation! The upgrade was exceptional done! I stayed in the ocean view room, the view was fantastic! The bed and bedding was comfortable. The lady that checked me in was so nice and accommodating. I Visited for work but will definitely come back with the family!

The facilities were beautiful. The staff was very friendly overall. I would've liked to of seen a non-technology-based concierge service. The only thing that was negative was the volume of the music in one of the pubs in the evening. You could hear it all the way up through the hotel.

Historic regal charm with modern cleanliness. The grass and lounging pools were clean and the beach opens up to the view of all the cruise ships coming in and out of Nassau. Very entertaining to watch those huge ships navigate in and out of port so close up while enjoying the private beach at British.

It was nicely decorated hotel. Our room was spacious but could have used an arm chair. Our door to our room had to pulled shut or it wouldn't close. The room cleaning service was inconsistent- they took our robes the second day and never replaced them. They did not refill toilet paper or tissue. The pool and beach were very nice! Although the beach water area is very small due to it being a bay for the cruise ships. However, the cruisers cannot come to this beach- it was never crowded. Lovely fire every night. We were told we could use hot tub at neighboring building but this was not true. There are too restaurants- one very high end we didn't go to but the Asian one was very good- great sushi. The bar was wonderful- beautifully decorated and had a singer two nights. The staff were friendly overall and willing to assist.

Lovely looking lobby, comfortable room with shower separate from tub. Staff incredibly nice and accommodating. Lots of eating choices on site. Bar very comfortable with dark mahogany appointments and Bahamian accents, limited but good fare and great cocktails! Outdoor area next to harbor so can see cruise ships in port plus come and go. Recommend!

This was booked in an emergency situation--It is a BEAUTIFUL hotel, staff are amazing and accommodating. The only bad thing, and to me it s a pretty big one---got to the room and upon entry the overwhelming smell of amonia---it smelled like cat pee. Now I know that is not likely, but the smell was so bad....only IN the room. I would stay here again, but DEF would want to see my room first.
