We had several issues with our room or missing items in the room during check in. While the team quickly resolved or responded, these issues could have been identified and resolved with a proper pre arrival inspection earlier that day or the day before.
The water was off for several hours one night. This ruined our plans for the night as we were unable to use the toilet or bath. We never received a notification. My husband had to finally go downstairs and inquire and met other guests doing the same. We also did not receive any type of apology or compensation for this major inconvenience.
The staff at the Spa weren’t very friendly. They barely spoke to us during our service only to give instructions on when and how to move our feet. We were celebrating our anniversary and although I mentioned this when confirming the reservation this was never acknowledged. I told my husband that I felt like we were at the doctors office instead of the Spa.
The Housekeeping team was very responsive and attentive to our needs and requests. The room and public spaces were well maintained.
Overall the property is clean and well maintained. The food was great at all outlets we dined. The location is convenient and the welcome drink of a margarita is a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel but feel the staff members could use a Hospitality refresher course. Service also defines the rate, which by the way in season is not cheap, so the team members define the experience.
