View from our room was spectacular. Did not like the red light blinking from the smoke detector (I Guess that is what is was) as it was always in our face while sleeping. The room was also cold and the noise from the generator outside was very loud. Most of the staff were courteous. The speakers in the disco room were extremely loud and deafening so we could not stay in there.

It was not worth the money they charge. The resort has limited availability for everything - restaurant seating, spa availability, etc. The credits they promise on Expedia come with a catch, its discount coupons that only apply if you spend an exorbitant amount on the services to begin with. The resort offers 24x7 room service but the food they send is stale and yucky. The pools close at 6pm (swim up pool closes even earlier at 5pm). Even the towels you need to make sure you return to them on time or you get charged $25 per person. RIU tries to come off as a fancy resort where you would feel special but in reality it is just an overpriced hotel with amenities that don't even match a 4-start one. Save your money and book a cheaper hotel near downtown Nassau. The food over there is nicer, moving around town easier, and you start off with low-expectations so you don't get disappointed once you get there.

The room was ok, but a bit outdated , but with the gorgeous beach , everything else didn’t matter , and on The Restaurants we could not make a reservations on the app as asked by the staff , but every night we went directly to the restaurant and was able to get in and had great dinners

Lots of good food and drinks were strong. Theres buffet and jerk chicken available everyday, if you want one of their nice restaurants on site you have to reserve a couple days in advance. The activities looked fun , even though me and my wife didn't participate in any, it was fun to watch and could see everyone enjoying themselves with the positive vibes. Most of the staff are all polite and friendly. We enjoyed watching the rock station show at the stage in the bar. Overall very positive experience since this was our first all inclusive vacation and first time in the Caribbean. We normally like to travel on our own for the last 6 years in asia.
