Great setting, pool and beach. Most of the staff is friendly. Property is tired and needs a good renovation. Should be considered a standard Riu not a “Riu Palace” compared to other Riu hotels. All rooms are named “suites” even though they are standard size rooms. Balconies of the Eastern side rooms are noisy due to the loud noise from the air handling units below. Food, specially @ the buffet can be much better.

Overall it was a great all inclusive. The food was really good, you do have to reserve for specialty restaurants but the buffet food was great with ALOT of options. Also it’s beach front with chairs, towels and umbrellas included. I would def come back here again.

Not the top of the line but it was nice. The pool and beach were fantastic, and the service and drinks were good. The buffet is good but not a lot of variety. The restaurants were good but again, not a lot of variety. Bring your own seasoning and hot sauce if you like flavor! Overall, we had a great time. The actual hotel was good - not great - just good.

I’ll start with the positive. All Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food at all the restaurants was very good. Portion sizes could be bigger. Buffet was just your standard buffet. Hotels is very nice and well maintained. Moving onto the beach. Beach would have been great except they have people not associated with nonstop trying to sell you stuff, including cigars, weed, jet skis, and other boating stuff. They are relentless. Shows at night were pretty boring. Same 6 dancers dancing to a different them every night. The resort does not offer much except food, beach, and pools. You have to leave the resort for any real entertainment

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here as we had the year prior when we stayed at RIU in Cabo. The good, the food at the buffet and specialty restaurants was very good, the beach with white sand, no stones or shells to cut your feet was beautiful. Nightly entertainment included dancers that were talented and entertaining. Views from the balcony were great and closeness to Atlantis was also a plus as that establishment is a must see..The not so good, staff is very inconsistent when approaching guest, we were not offered champagne upon arrival as some were. Many staff, female seemed almost indifferent to connecting with you like passing you a drink while looking away..problems with our room like phone never worked and room air was off and took hours to get cool Did not seem to garner much concern. Smaller property with only two pools one was swim up bar … 24hr bar was nice but ended up a hang out for the intoxicated….Its an 8..7.8

Room was great with a great ocean view. Staff was helpful and fun. Food at all restaurants and even the buffet was very good! We will be back!

The floors were very slick! Multiple people fell while staying here for four days. The dinning reservations were extremely limited and had to be mad days in advance. Everything had to be done through the app and if you have a group of 3 or more it was a pain trying to get reservations to sit together. We wouldn’t go back. The staff was great, the beach was nice, everything else was so so.

Been to several different RIU hotels in other locations. This location was the smallest in size. Less activities and only one small store with limited merchandise. The entire hotel staff and locals were the most friendliest I've encountered.

I did not have sufficient time to view the property, therefore I'm unable to comment. However, the food was great at the Atlantic Restaurant. The only thing the chef that prepares the Mexican omelette needs to be a little careful when cracking the eggs because I bit egg shell.
