We have stayed at the property 3 times over the past few years and it has recently had the rooms renovated to a modern high standard.
The breakfast is good, but the historical issues of late check ins often 4pm before you get your keys, a very slow and in efficient front desk and only 2 lifts for the whole hotel are the same

Our compliments to the extremely helpful and efficient staff at the Himalaia Hotel ... and to the manager Maria. (.. I think she is the manager ...) who gave us a great roomto accomodate a dog!

Carlos and Fabio took care of our food and drinks.
Sonia... took care of our room ... and spoiled the dog...she is great.
and very important.... the OSCAR goes to Fabio, multitalented, multifunctional and multilingual ...if you need anything he is your man!
The Himalaia is close to the slopes and gondolas with easy parking and comfortable rooms.
We enjoyed a great breakfast, but we were slightly disappointed with the restaurants.....

L'Himalaia : un sommet de déceptions
La veille de mon arrivée pour 1 semaine à L'Himalaia, j'apprends qu'un impératif familial me contraint (bien malgré moi) à réduire mon séjour d 1 nuit (la dernière du vendredi au samedi). J'en informe immédiatement l'hôtel à mon arrivée. Le réceptionniste me dit "aucun problème". A moment du check out, le vendredi matin, l'hôtel me fait payer la 7eme nuit. "Vous auriez du appeler e-bookers" m'explique t'on sèchement. Inadmissible!
Je demande à parler au Directeur. Un rendez-vous avec lui m'est fixé un peu plus tard. J'arrive au rendez-vous. personne. "Il est parti" me dit-on. La classe mondiale!!
S'ajoute à cela un restaurant buffet digne d'une mauvaise cantine, un autre restaurant, annoncé plus "haut de gamme", désert, à la carte aussi inspirante que celle d'un "American Diner" de zone industrielle, aucune activité après ski ou "mauvais temps"... j'en passe et des meilleurs...
Une usine à touriste sans âme ni charme ni service que je déconseille à tous...
