Absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was outstanding. The location is fantastic, with stunning views that made our time there even more special. The staff were truly exceptional—every single person we encountered, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was professional, warm, and welcoming. The level of service was genuinely first-class. The entire place was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive. There’s a real sense of generosity and care in how everything is presented, which added to the overall experience. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels this classy yet so friendly and inviting. Should be classed as a motel not a hotel. Room was less than expected for price paid. It was near the bins and the carpet was wrinkled and not at the rating standard of the property. Nonetheless, the staff were super friendly and the motel was convenient to the town center.

The Nelson is a great place to stay. Right in the middle of the main strip close to beaches ports and all the amenities and restaurants. The hotel it self is extremely well appointed and the staff are credit to the management. I highly recommend this hotel for any one staying in Nelson bay
