Gruene Vista on the Guadalupe is ready to host your next vacation getaway with family and friends. Step inside and you'll be greeted by a relaxing and spacious living area, complete with TV, pool table just around the corner, and panoramic views of the Hill Country through the large windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking and dining essentials. Between the large dining table and bar seating there is plenty of space to comfortably seat your group.

Gruene Vista features a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath floor plan, that makes the most of the home's 3,400 square feet. On the main level you'll find the master bedroom with attached bath, second and third bedrooms with king beds, and an additional sleeper sofa in the study/office area. The main level offers another shared full bathroom and half bath. For more sleeping options, the upstairs bedroom houses a king bed and queen sleeper sofa and the attached upstairs full bath offers privacy to the group on the second floor.

Out back there's a covered patio and barbecue area, a flat grassy backyard, and an open deck on the back of the property that offers views of the Guadalupe River and surrounding valleys from high above. Be sure to enjoy the deck at sunset or when the stars come out to enjoy the pleasing sounds and starry night. Please note: there is no access to the Guadalupe River from the home.

House was great fit for my family. Gorgeous deck with water below. My only problem was the rail out there covered thick in bird feces. We didn’t sit out there because of it. Loved the pool table.

The home is beautiful and it was clean. We only had a few issues. Some of our ladies had a hard time stepping up on the porch as the first step is tall. We had a problem with the TV as it did not work in the living room. The last 2 days there were large amounts of dead flies in the master bathroom.The house rules are to set the thermostat on 76 during the summer but that is way to warm, we were HOT! Since it was over 90 degrees outside this was way to warm in the house even with ceiling fans.I would go back to this house again but maybe in cooler weather.

Texas Hill Country Paradise

This property was perfect for our group of 9 ages 60-2. There was enough space for everyone to have their own room and bathroom! The kids could play and run around in the front or back yard. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at the house. The gem of this property is the deck! We spent every evening on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the river. Even though neighbors are close and town is not far, it is very private. There is so much wildlife as well. Things to note: The bed sheets are low quality as is the toiletpaper and paper towels. They don't let you have access to extra paper goods, trash bags, and complimentary cleaning products so we had to buy extras. We probably could have asked them to supply more but chose not to. None of the negatives would prevent me from staying again. This place is special!

Hill Country Getaway

The property was as advertised. Communication with property management company excellent. This home is spacious and perfect for 3 couples. We each were able to enjoy our private bedrooms and attached baths. Deck overlooking the river was better than the pictures let on. Location to Gruene is very nice, although too far to walk after dark. Location to river road excellent if you wish to enjoy the attractions there. It is an older property but well maintained and well stocked for a very comfortable stay.

Lovely home

It was a small family get together of sorts. We played cards, pool, cooked out, watched movies, sat on the deck over the river relaxing and watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine, perfect. There was plenty of room so everyone had space and my parents could have their siesta and watch the news (loudly) without drowning us all out. The house is close enough to everything and we enjoyed the resident deer in the front yard.

House is Great but Not Issue Free

This house is perfect for large groups! It’s a fantastic location (very close to all Gruene has to offer). The backyard and view of the river is absolutely amazing! We really did have a blast! That being said, there are issues with hot water in the showers. We could not get hot water in the master or downstairs bathrooms. Strangely, it worked everywhere else (even in the sinks and tubs of the bathrooms where it wasn’t working in the showers). Property company was very responsive and admitted the water can be troublesome in the house. They had us reset the water heater instead of sending someone out to resolve. Their reasoning behind that was it often works and is quicker. It did not work for us. There were 9 of us that had to share one shower. I just want anyone who chooses this property to be aware it could be an issue for them as well. Outside of that, we had a lovely time there.

Nice house

Great location and nice views from the observation deck. There was some wear and tear on the house. Carpet needed to be cleaned in some areas, the master bedroom shower head was broken. and grill was covered with grease and unusable. Overall the house was as advertised and very comfortable for a large group. A very relaxing spot.
