Ant all. Over my bath room, the beds were nice, but I wish u would a tv in the bed also , they also have no ice machine, u have to make ur own ice, oh yea they have a lot long loud frieght trains at nice, but I was there thanksgiving weekend, it might be good for kids in the big pool park. I would stay again and away from trains and have ice and a nicer room, the floor is all unlevel. That was my st time there, so if the beds were bad I would never go back!

Issue with check-in, Hotels.com didn’t reserve right took an hour to check in. Drunk people and all the room rooms around us knocking on our door at 2 AM. They were able to open our door as the electronic lock malfunction, making us unable to sleep as we felt unsafe.

We enjoy staying at The Resort at Schlitterbahn off season. It is a clean and comfortable property. We also enjoy the deer on the property. It is close to both New Braunfels as well as to Gruene, Tx.

The staff was very responsive to our minor needs. The unit 1321 was very spartan in decor and kitchen amenities. Because the unit had tile floors and lots of granite everywhere it was very loud throughout the unit. Quite Voices and any movements were easily picked up on. Tall ceilings and a spacious layout were positives. Also the free breakfast was a plus we didn’t know about until we checked in.

We have stayed at the original Schlitterbahn resort for decades, and decided to try the Lofts as an upgrade. The main Schlitterbahn staff is amazing, we had to request a venue change based on the fact that Expedia never disclosed there were one to three flights of stairs, definitely not handicap accessible. Expedia also had somewhat of a bait and switch, as we were expecting to get an event package, but found out that the package was only available at the original resort. The patio view from the suite was amazing, definitely a treetop venue with a view of the Comal river. The two bedroom/two bath suite we booked was very spacious, and included a washer dryer which we didn't need, but could be useful for a longer stay. The cleanliness of the loft property was below par, which prompted my lower review, and which we were reported to management at the end of our stay. The thermostat had faulty buttons, so trying to change the temperature to a warmer setting was nearly impossible. There was also an AC unit somewhere on the property that was going bad, and had a continuous loud grinding noise when it ran, loud enough to drive us indoors. If we had a longer stay, I'm sure management would have responded to the issues we had, the property is in a very good location, and I would book again-but would definitely walk through it first.
