Need to improve to meet Best Western Standard

We checked in late around 10:30pm, we booked for two rooms, the receptionist told me that our rooms in another building, which is two stories without elevator. He gave me two rooms cards with same room number on it. We moved the heavy luggages to the 2nd floor of the back building looks like motel, then I found the two room cards with same room number, I need to go back to the main building and asked for the 2nd room number and card, very frustrated. Inside the room, no Kettles, no coffee maker, no complimentary water. I called the receptionist and asked how can I have the hot water, he said there is hot & cold water in the reception that I can come and get it. Unbelievable, customers need to go to another building to have water to drink?? The room condition is not good, Broken heating cover. The washroom door can’t be closed properly, scratched the floor with big noise.

Always stay at this hotel the pool is heated and the kids love it. The hot tub is a great way to relax the roof is spray foamed to its not a noisy pool area which we also like. Rooms are comfortable and quite. Always pick this hotel when we stay in truro. The breakfast has an omelet bar which is great too.

The restaurant was awful- service was okay but the food was really bad. They tried to update the rooms but they were run down, think visable mold in the bathroom, chipping paint on doors....you could hear laundry going thru the wall all night...we were woken up several times thru the night by other guests slamming around and stomping. Best Westerns are usually great but this one wasnt it.

The breakfast was great. The room we had in the 1st floor annex building was in need of repair. We couldn’t close the bathroom door because it was so warped. There was a piece missing out of the door box. The heater begin the sink and toilet had exposed wires - not very safe, fortunately we didn’t need to turn it on. I wouldn’t stay here again.
