Niseko Riverside - Greenie Cottage
Welcome to Greenie Cottage, a cozy 4-bed 1.5 bath countryside retreat located in the peaceful community of New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island. Set on a shared rural property with one other separate cottage, Greenie Cottage offers a relaxing Island escape surrounded by rolling farmland and scenic river views, while still being close to PEI’s most popular attractions including Cavendish, North Rustico, and Charlottetown. Greenie Cottage is a compact but thoughtfully laid-out home featuring four bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The sleeping arrangements include three queen beds and one bunk bed, making it a great option for families or small groups who value a cozy atmosphere over large interior spaces. Please note that the cottage is intentionally designed with a smaller footprint, and some bedrooms are more compact—perfect for resting after full days spent enjoying the Island. The cottage has its own private entrance and private deck, complete with a fire pit, picnic table, and sun chairs, offering a quiet space to relax outdoors. Inside, you’ll find a warm and comfortable living area with two TVs, a game console, and all the essentials needed for a pleasant stay. Laundry facilities are available on-site and are shared between the two cottages. This is a shared property with two separate cottage units, and guests at Greenie Cottage also enjoy access to shared amenities located nearby. These include a game room with a pool table and darts, a trampoline, and bikes that are shared between both cottages. The large yard provides plenty of open green space to enjoy the peaceful countryside setting. Due to the rural setting and the nearby working dairy farm, guests may notice the presence of insects, particularly during warmer months. We regularly spray and maintain the property to help reduce insects, but some are to be expected in a natural countryside environment. Located near a working dairy farm, you may also see cows grazing in the surrounding fields—an authentic PEI experience. You’re just minutes from local favourites such as the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers and The PEI Preserve Company, along with Glasgow Hills Golf Course and nearby beaches, trails, and family attractions. Greenie Cottage is ideal for guests looking for a quiet, rural escape with shared amenities and a cozy interior. If you’re comfortable with a more compact layout and appreciate outdoor space, local charm, and easy access to PEI highlights, this cottage offers a welcoming and memorable home base for your Island stay.
