Checked in late due to a canceled flight out of Tweed airport in New Haven. After being frustrated and upset about the cancellation, it was a welcome pleasure to spend the night at this lovely hotel. We had an attractive large room with comfortable beds, which was just what we needed! The room had pleasant lighting, and was very clean, quiet and appealing. The bathroom was roomy, with a large shower and plenty of hot water. I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was very up-to-date and comfortable, even a bit spacious, with two queen beds, a divan, good storage, and a useful desk. Best was the staff, who printed out several documents for me. Everyone was helpful & nice. This was a great hotel for touring Yale, a short walk from the college campus. Highly recommend.

The bathrooms are not cleaned everyday, and I believe that causes a lingering urine smell in the rooms. I added a few extra days after this stay, and one front desk staff member was particularly unpleasant.

Below average services for extraordinary pricing

The electrical system in the room is spotty. Window blinds dont work well so if you want black out blinds they dont function. They have the brightest of smoke detector lights that flash every 10 seconds in your bedroom and as the hotel states This is a feature of the room. The bathroom lights are tempermental. No safes are in the room. If you need a steamer for your clothes you are out of luck.

The Hotel is in a good location and clean but the price was extremely inflated for the dates. $500 per night with nothing but a bed and TV was ridiculous. This isn't even a 5 star hotel. How unfortunate that hotels would risk losing a customer due to greed.

I arrived after midnight and checked out early in the morning. The check in and check out was very smooth. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
