My house is located in Central City, right across from Taylor Park. The Superdome, downtown, garden district, and St. Charles trolley are all roughly 1.5 miles away from the house. The French Quarter is 2.6 miles away from my house. New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is 2.4 miles away. A lot of new construction in the neighborhood. Several stores within walking distance. Sav-A-lot, Family Dollar, Dollar general, Burger King, Taco Bell, Starbucks and many more.

Very nice place

Very nice place and I appreciated the accuracy of the description. We were 15 minutes away from everywhere we went. Host provided dishes, towels, wash rags, etc. very convenient!!

Kay was easy to work with. We very much appreciated her changing our check in date at the last minute. House was very clean. Beds were comfy. Decent neighborhood we felt safe and it was 3 women on the trip. Close to all the sights and restaurants

Met our needs.

We needed something close to Loyola, at a decent price. It had everything we needed, we weren't there much as we did daytime fun stuff. Definitely not my ideal neighborhood, never felt unsafe though. Very easy to communicate with the host. The internet password in the frame is wrong but the correct one is posted on the tv.

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem. Es ist größer, als es auf den Fotos wirkt. Das Viertel selbst ist nicht sehr schön, aber Garden District ist schnell zu erreichen.

Adorable Place

The location was great! We were looking for some place near french quarter and actually found one inside the district but read somewhere that french quarter can be very noisy at night. Finally chose this place and we're happy about our choice. Less than 10 min drive to french quarter. The only problem I can mention is that the queen beds aren't actually suitable for 2 adults so we used the air mattresses which aren't the best :D Also we had some issues with A/C and one room was way warmer than the others so

Perfect Place

Absolutely adorable shotgun house. A true Louisiana experience. We loved it! Was a quick Uber ride to all the fun tourist areas. We came down to go to the WWII museum. The owner was so nice and lightening fast on answering questions. I would highly recommend.

It was great!

Kay is an amazing host! Very responsive and was able to recommend great places we wouldnt have normally gone. Place has a great charm. Its older and neighborhood matched but we felt safe. Close to everything. We definitely will stay here if we return in the future.

Kay was great

The property was exactly as you see in the listing. Kay was great. Communicated quickly and very well. She even let us have an early check-in. House was clean and overall can not complain about much. Saint's stadium was about a 5 minute drive away so that was a big plus.

It’s what’s on the inside that counts

The house is very nice on the inside, it’s a lot bigger than the pictures look. Kay was very responsive and wanted to make sure that everything went well why we were there. There was a water cooler that was super convenient as well as some other cleaning supplies. We were able to comfortably sleep fit 5 of us men in town for the football game. The location as others mention is not in the nicest neighborhood, the bus is not very frequent, and you are not close to any streetcars. We ubered everywhere which wasn’t too bad as you aren’t that far from downtown/French quarter and we were able to get Uber XLs for $12-15. I would highly recommend staying here if you don’t mind the transportation and there’s a Raising Canes down the block so that’s always a plus!

We would definitely recommend staying with y’all! Kay was super nice and answered all my questions and concerns quickly. Super clean and close to everything we wanted to see while in NOLA. Location a little sketchy but we didn’t have any issues at all.
