The Engine 24 French Quarter Firehouse provides a distinctive Bed & Breakfast experience, allowing guests to stay in an authentic, historically significant firehouse that has been elegantly modernized. Nestled in the lively Faubourg Marigny, celebrated as one of America's premier neighborhoods, it neighbors the historic French Quarter and the fashionable Bywater district, renowned for its superb local eateries and vibrant bars. This bed & breakfast, once a fire station, has been converted into a warm haven for tourists and locals alike, offering a deep dive into New Orleans' cultural richness. The building, which historically housed Engine 24 of the New Orleans Fire Department, was purchased and renovated by local architect William Sonner in the 2000s, and it has since emerged as a popular vacation rental in the city.
