My stay at this hotel was unfortunately very unpleasant. Upon arrival, I inquired about parking options, and the valet staff informed me that valet parking was the only option available. When I asked about street parking, I was simply told, “You can park on the street at your own risk,” with no additional guidance. When I asked how to pay for street parking, the response was, “I don’t work for the city”—a dismissive answer that felt unhelpful and forced us into paying $50 plus tax per night for valet.
At the front desk, I asked again, hoping for more clarity, but received the same cold response. The staff came across as unfriendly and unwilling to assist in any meaningful way. Basic courtesies were also missing—most hotels provide at least a complimentary bottle of water, but here, that wasn’t even offered.
Housekeeping was also a disappointment. Despite placing the notice on our door, our room was not cleaned, and towels were not replaced.
Overall, this stay was a series of letdowns. I expected far better service and hospitality from a Hampton Inn.
