Room was clean & refreshed daily. The staff was pleasant & helpful. The only thing that was off-putting, was the hall carpets were being cleaned while we were there & there was an unpleasant smell.

Great place, minor hiccups

The phone in the room did not work making me have to Journey down to the front desk when i needed something. Room was very comfortable and clean except for the carpet by the side of the bed. Desk chair is due for a replacement. And i was awakened at 4am by someone vacuuming above me.

Bland downtown hotel- average at best

Hotel lobby needed better AC. Very warm. Didn’t like the fake rich furniture and decor. Did like the large portraits of blue dogs and Jazz Fest covers. Also liked the $20 credit towards the hotel restaurant. Did not like the location. Unsavory characters too close for comfort.

The property was 3 min walk from the French Quarter, which is very convenient. Don’t have to deal with driving and parking in the French Quarter. Lots of bumper-to-bumper traffic in and around the French Quarter and parking is about $37 for 2 hrs there. So this hotel is a blessing. The hotel has a parking garage next to it for $39/night and unlimited in-and-out so it works out great. Hotel is very quiet so you don’t have to deal with the noisiness of the French Quarter. Lots of excellent breakfast spots all around the hotel.
