We were very happy with the hospitality & customer service at the Omni riverwalk Hotel. Everyone from the entrance greeters, help desk, bar, and check in employees were very happy to help us. No irritated or unfriendly employees.

Could be better

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite. However, our room had a strange musty odor, and the bottom of our feet turned blacked after walking in our room. So I’m guessing the carpets needed to be cleaned and shampooed. Also, a wedding parade happened in the middle of the night. The music was crazy loud. That’s New Orleans though. Still wanted to point it out if anyone had newborns or young children that are light sleepers.

This hotel was perfect for our 3 days there. While some may not prefer to walk, we enjoyed walking to the French quarters, the Garden district and Magazine St. Also, there is shopping and restaurants close by.
