Please no sand in the unit. There is a shower and hose located to the left of the garage to rinse off all sand prior to entering the apartment.
Please remove all garbage and recyclables and place in the garbage cans and recycling bins to the left of the bottom stairs at the main house.
Smoking outside the house is permitted if the butts are placed in the garbage. Please move to the garden area, away from the other units.

The unit was wonderful! It’s an older unit that could use some modern renovations, but the place is certainly clean and big enough for family and friends. The host is wonderful to work with in the case of any questions or concerns. Super short walk to the beach and a short drive to the main shopping/restaurant areas. I recommend bringing a couple of blankets as it can get chilly inside. We would stay again :)

This property is super close to the beach! However, the foliage is overgrown, the house is old, uneven floors and hasn’t been updated or repaired in a long while. Be aware that the kitchen has no stove, only a mini fridge. It could be quite charming with a few simple upgrades. Has great potential!

A few details

This apartment was great and well-maintained. However when you get there you will find out that it is actually attached to a larger family home and the walls are a little thin. There were no real issues but this is something to consider if you’re looking for a more private stay. Also the listing says it has a washer and dryer for laundry but it doesn’t. Other than those details, it’s a great place to be able to experience New Smyrna Beach.
