The gym is basic but it has 1. Check in was quick and efficient and the reception staff were professional and welcoming. We had a room on the 17th floor with a view of the Empire State Building which I was not expecting. There is a cafe type breakfast nook and I believe some guests get free breakfast but we didn’t have that within our booking, there is hot drinks and pastries available there. There is fresh drinking water available in reception. All the staff were very nice. The only issue we had was the noise at night from the door to the stairs ( I presumed it was staff using it at night) it woke me several times one night It is very well located for walking to Times Square, 5th avenue and the subway There are several restaurants and pubs on the same street and some lovely patisseries within a 2 min walk I would stay here again

The staff here were very kind and super helpful. The room was very small and felt crowded, especially with our suit cases. there was no fan in the bathroom so it got very steamy when showering. The bed was too short… I am an average height and my feet were hanging off the bottom if I wasn’t completely up against the head board. There were no USB plugs, and the regular plugs were very loose so we had to prop something against the blocks to stay in the socket. I could also hear most of what the others staying on my floor were doing/saying.

The room was very clean and ready before check in at 3 pm… we arrived around noon! There was no refrigerator, and the staff offered one which we accepted, however, it was never delivered. This was ok, because we never really needed it. The lightbulb above the entry door was burned out and changed after our first night. Lastly, I did not like the fact that I was charged per bag to store my bags after check out. It was a long weekend trip so we had suitcases, carry bags and several shopping bags which were all tagged individually… even my daughter’s coat was charged! It was a nominal fee per bag, however, I have never been charged a bag fee by any hotel in the past. Lastly, when I asked for a checkout receipt, I was told because I booked through Expedia, I could not get one, email or paper. This has never happened before either so I could not see if I was ever charged for the refrigerator. . Overall the hotel was fine, but with so many others to choose from, I don’t think I’ll stay there again! Not sure why, but that bag fee sure got to me!😂

Everyone who works there is amazing and went above and beyond for my family. They let us check in early and check out late. They held our bags and were always friendly! The rooms are small, but you can’t beat the location.
