Affordable and quaint

Small room but worked great for a quick weekend trip. Be prepared to share bathrooms with another room, otherwise affordable and in cute Chelsea neighborhood.

I didn't realize it was a 5 floor walk up but it was clean. Tiny but a great location. Close to the subway and a great bagel spot called Tompkins Square Bagels.

Avoid this hotel.. incredibly noisy on first floor... dont stay in 101, 102, 103, 104. Got a refund. Which in all my traveling is a first. It was that bad Mattresses awful. Heater would not turn off. Noise. No shampoo or conditioner.

Cute and clean little room but no amenities to speak of. Also be aware that there is no elevator, just narrow staircases. Fine if you are only staying a night or two. Would be tough with a full sized suitcase or more than one bag. There was a lot of street noise (construction, banging, yelling) at all hours of the night. Was actually quieter during the day (maybe bc there’s a school next door?).

It is dirty!! The floor was dirty and sticky. There is no cleaning service. The front desk will direct you to a closet to grab a mop and detergents so you can clean the room. The room was spacious for NY but it is not worth it. It is a walk up building so there is no elevator.
