We liked that it was in a clean area. Not too crowded like Times Square. The conditions is what i didn’t like. Half of the shower head didn’t work. The room was not cold even setting it at 68 degrees we slept without blankets. We couldn’t sit properly on the commode, if we did our knees would touch the wall. Sink faucet was way too low basically touching the sink bowl. Hard to wash your hands. I chose it for the pool, the pool was tiiiny. Like 4’ in width. Not what i expected. Wish I would of done more research for our stay.

The property was in a great location. And it was very clean. I liked the empty fridge, and the people at the desk. However, I hated my room key, which only worked after I had it fixed (12 times), and then used 6-7 tries. And I didn't like the noisy air conditioner.

AC did not work all week, broken shower faucet, blinds would not raise, outlets didn’t work. Rooftop food was terrible. Front desk did nothing about what we told them was wrong. Dark, dingy, dirty. Enhanced lobby photos online very untruthful.

The gentleman who checked us in was kind of rude. He was in the middle of checking us in and took a phone call and left us just standing there. The shade in the room was broken and the bathroom was kind of dirty. Not worth what I paid. Just an okay stay.

We are specifically going to NYC to go to Metropolitan Opera, and this hotel is just fantastically located. You just need to cross the street and you are there. Other than that - friendly and courteous staff, clean and roomy suites.
