Great Boutique Hotel in Lower Manhattan

The Gramercy Park Hotel is a great boutique hotel in Lower Manhattan. The hotel design is fabulous, rooms are comfortable and reasonable sized for Manhattan if you book at least a Kingsize room. The Rose Bar is a wonderful place for drinks and the Maialino restaurant (not part of the hotel) offers delicious breakfasts and Italian lunches and dinners. We loved the Gramercy Park Hotel. The only downside is that even though it’s as part of the Design Hotels affiliated to the SPG program it does not offer lots of the amazing SPG benefits especially when you are a Platinum member like me. We just got free internet and room upgrade at a reduced fee. No free upgrades, no free breakfasts, no extra SPG points, etc..
