Very convenient location in the heart of Times Square. Good breakfast options (go early, or it's packed, including elevators!). Always felt safe, had great experiences with all the staff, and the gym was an added bonus for those of us who are active. Would definitely stay here again.

I expected more from Hampton Inn

The hotel was fine but the breakfast was cold before 8am. The lobby was so crowded at times you can’t get to the elevators. Moving the front desk to the other side of the entry might help. The elevators had to be pre-programmed, no buttons. This led to too many people programmed for the same elevator. Missed several chances for the elevator because of this as did other guests. It’s such a money grub not cleaning the rooms daily or even every other. But to wait 4 days is ridiculous.

We arrived at the hotel and the staff was very nice and very helpful. Even the engineer staff were very friendly. The area where the hotel is, is very convenient if you want to be in the heart of Times Square. It’s not bad for a night or 2. What I didn’t like about the hotel is that if you are claustrophobic then it’s not for you. The rooms are super tiny and the AC is controlled so the rooms are super hot, the bed and pillows are not comfortable and the hallways are so narrow. For the price that we paid I feel like we did not get the comfort we deserved for our money.
