Elevator annoyance

The hotel is great and even though it's just off Times Square the noise was good. The elevator situation is a nightmare. Almost every time I needed the elevator it was a 15-20 min wait. Often the elevators would be so full that you would need to wait for 3 or5 elevators to pass before you could get on. Everything else was terrific.

Horrible. My room and sheets were dirty I have all my proof. And fridge did not work. Rooms as small as a box of shoes. Elevators were highly inconvenient. Prepare to wait 40 minutes to take the elevator in the mornings.

Great staff - very helpful, holding onto our luggage safely for us upon our early arrival. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Clean room with great view minutes from Time Square.

The property is small but perfect to have a place to stay if the purpose of your trip is to be out and about. I would definitely consider it again. The biggest thing that I disliked was the elevator wait time during the check out time. We were on the third floor and it took over 45 min to finally get an elevator.

The elevators were very frustrating to use. I couldn’t go on any other floor but mine and the gym, not even to get ice. The water at the gym didn’t work. There was no place to sit other than the breakfast area on breakfast time only. I got the city view, but it was right in front of another hotel so I couldn’t really turn on the light or they would see inside my room. The rooms are very small, but that’s understandable for the location. The cable kept going out of service while I was there several times. Generally, I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone not worth the price. The only good thing was the location.

Overall, it was a good experience. It was close to everything that we had hoped to do while in NYC. As others said previously the elevators, during the rush times were slow and could be irritating. If you planned ahead and got to them before or after the rush it was perfect.
