Small rooms, you can hear other doors opening and shutting easily as the rooms are small and next to each other. The elevators can get busy and full and might have to wait longer than expected. Breakfast is super packed no matter what time early or late, makes it hard to find a table. The card keys fail from time to time. The hotel is in a great location as it is right in Times Square.

Extremely small rooms, typical for NYC. The elevator took 15 plus minutes every single time we came and left our room, ended up having to use the stairs a few times which was inconvenient. Breakfast was good but extremely packed every single day. Air conditioning was not that cold in the room and there is a sensor on it so while you’re sleeping, the air conditioner is not running and it gets extremely hot in the room. The front desk was nice enough to bring us a fan and that worked well Room was clean, staff were nice and location was perfect!

Excellent location!

Our room was rather small (2 full/queen beds), comfy beds, appreciated the room amenities (hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, microwave, refrigerator). Appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Excellent location, close (walking distance) to all major tourist locations, and the theater district. Con: bathroom sink - way too small! and even though there are lots of elevators, it was a bit frustrating because it's a big hotel and lots of guests trying to use them at the same time made for long waits.

Good but not great

The hotel was conveniently close to the restaurants and events that we frequent while in the city. However, we were disappointed with a few things—The room was nice but the air conditioning was extremely loud and kept us up every night with its banging. The bathroom smelled of mildew like the housekeeper mopped with a dirty mop. The housekeeper that came 2 days later (they only “refresh” rooms (they stated) every other day) cleaned it properly. The free breakfast was very chaotic and unorganized. Many of the guests dont speak English so when the staff asked people if they were done eating to please allow others to sit down and eat…the requests were ignored. We noticed a couple that were done eating and asked if we could have their table, they just indicated that they didn’t speak English and put their hands up to shoo us away. Waiting for the elevators was a pain…especially when its full and the elevator sign indicates that its overloaded and wouldn’t move..we already had 10 people on it and a family of 5 tried to squeeze on and refused to get off. 6 of us decided just to get off and wait for the next one..its frustrating trying to nicely explain only to have someone say “no” and continue to board. At any rate, we most likely will not stay at this hotel again. I think they need more staff around to direct people on the rules etc. and work on a better system of organization for the continental breakfast.

Great place to stay close to Times Square

Cool place close to Times Square and Theater District. Close to subways. Breakfast was convenient, but crowded with limited seating.

The staff was pleasant. The room was clean but small. Great location. Wasn’t aware beforehand that the room would be cleaned every other day instead of every day. We ran low on Kleenex and toilet paper and ran out of clean towels. The seating area for breakfast was a little hectic. There wasn’t enough tables for people to sit down and eat.

Location was perfect!!!! Rooftop lounge is 21+ which was not disclosed when asked at time of reservation. Breakfast is CHAOTIC and elevator in the AM will take 20 min depending on floor. Rest of the time no elevator issues. A/C worked fine, it’s forced air so on/off automatically and is loud but does not disrup sleep. Nicholas at front desk was very helpful. Housekeeping was a no show one day and knocked at 8 AM on check out day while we were sleeping but absolutely worth the stay. Just be advised of what the issues are.

Their elevator system is terrible, absolutely ineffective. Their breakfast system also needs updating, limited sitting. The hotel is not very accommodating check in is at 4pm we asked for a late check out at 3 different occasions all the which we were told to ask “later.” When later came it was a no. Would not frequent here again. Again, I cannot stress enough how bad the elevator situation is.

Good rate, 3 minute walk to Times Square, clean

The free breakfast is a nice option but I was only able to find glass dishes and wasnt able to take them to the room since there was no seats left. It is also cramped and with someone like me who walks with a cane it becomes very difficult to manipulate in and out of small space. Bed comfort was amazing! The room was again cramped for someone with a cane however I did not book the ADA room. Outside of that the rooms, elevators, and hallways. Elevator access can be a little crazy of the mornings and people LOVE to crame on until the elevator overloads and refuses to move until people get off.
