The property is very nice. There are two RIU hotels, which I think should be clarified more. They are a few blocks from each other, but it can cause confusion upon arrival. Regardless, the location is perfect and everything is within walking distance. Of course there is always the people who are complaining about the noise. I think they’re being unreasonable given it is Times Square in New York City, the city that never sleeps that is. It is not an issue if your windows are shut. The only main issue I had with the stay was the staff and service of staff. Very rude for the most part. There were a few staff members that were kind. The bellhop was one of them that I can think of. The security was very rude. The reception office was unprofessional and they did not seem to take accountability for the mistakes made. For example, having two rooms going into one room and it is not cleaned. The breakfast is for the one person who is the primary room renter. Anyone extra, including children is an extra cost.

The rooms are teeny and the condition of the property is fine, but the staff is absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful; plus the breakfast choices are great. It is an amazing location. We stay there every time we’re in NYC for a show.

Shower water temp was somewhat difficult to control. It was either super hot or ice cold. Otherwise, this is my favorite hotel of choice, and have stayed there many times. Definitely one of my favorite hotels.
