FULL breakfast on the house! Roof access with great views. Room had a full kitchen and bar top/table. More spacious than most NYC hotel rooms. Every staff member was friendly, attentive and interactive. The pillows had seen their better day. We asked for new ones but they were still pretty awful.

The room and hotel was so clean it was incredible. The staff was kind, friendly, and willing to help. There were many of options for breakfast. Overall, this was a prime spot with easy access to downtown New York.

My family and I loved this hotel! We had a suite on a high floor and we had a gorgeous view of the Empire State Building! It had a washer/dryer combo (which came in handy when my 15 year old daughter stepped in snow slush and we had to dry her tennis shoes). It had a comfy sofa bed for her to sleep on and the bedroom had the same gorgeous views as the living area. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was amazing! This hotel is also in a great location. Outside of the hustle and bustle but still walking distance from lots of things. Our stay here made our dream New York trip even better than we could have expected.

Overall, as a local from NYC, i had a great stay in Hyatt House Chelsea. There was an issue with duplicate booking that was resolved with the third party vendor Expedia/Hotels.com agents and in cooperation with the Hotel Manager named Vmitra. I initially spoke with the hotel supervisor about the issue but she gave me this tone of voice that felt like she didnt care at all. She just stated that they have a policy and that I should speak with the third party vendor instead. But i told her that the third party vendor wants to speak with the hotel manager. But the hotel supervisor was defensive saying the booking was canceled and the hotel didnt receive any payment from Expedia/Hotels.com. I kept on repeating that expedia wants to speak with hotel manager and the hotel supervisor kept on repeating that i have to speak and deal with this issue with Expedia instead. Anyway, issue was resolved and grateful that Hotel Manager Ms. Vmitra called me this morning. She provided an exceptional service. Thanks Vmitra.
