Truly had a very nice simple stay at this hotel. Rooms are updated, clean, comfy bed. Excellent convenient hotel in midtown east … great location. Small, boutique place. Very nice staff. Rooms are small … it’s all I needed. Will definitely return!

Everything was exactly as advertised. Room was definitely small but extremely well laid out and organized so that not an inch of space was wasted, while still being comfortable and cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the towels were plush. I loved the shelf next to the bed with access to the blinds, an outlet and light switches. I liked that the hotel emailed me in advance with directions on how to operate everything in the room from the TV to temperature control; that makes a ton of sense and I wish other hotels would do the same since it feels like I waste a lot of time figuring out the TV, etc in hotel rooms. I do wish that LCH had someone on staff or at the front desk 24 hours. Although I used to live in NYC and am very comfortable there, not having anyone on site to deal with random questions felt a bit odd, even though I didn’t need any assistance this time. All in all it’s a low-frills yet clean and comfortable hotel and the price reflects that. I would stay here again because of the central location, comfortable rooms and reasonable price.

I've never stayed at a pod hotel, but I'm guessing it is a similar concept. I'll start with the positives: -it was clean -they give you fuji water bottles -amazing use of a very tiny space (smallest hotel room I've ever seen) -there were some pastries and coffee/juice out in the morning (pastries weren't good, but a nice touch) The cons: -terrible bed. Feels like you are sleeping on a pillow. There is no support in the mattress whatsoever; you just sink in. Was up many times as it was impossible to get comfortable. No top sheet either -no water pressure in the shower at all -wouldn't recommend more than one person in the room. The only way off the bed is to shimmy to the end as there is no way to get in and out of it on the sides of the bed -paper thin walls

Gorgeous, inexpensive boutique hotel in midtown east, near the UN and all the embassies. Had some great Greek food a block down, and tried some delicious Georgian food at a restaurant right around the corner. We were there for a Broadway show, it’s an easy walk from Grand Central to the hotel, and you can be in Times Square from Grand Central in a jiffy. Nice amenities, and very pleasant staff.

Tiny but comfortable room, very clean. Quiet. No cups in bathroom. I asked twice over 2 days for them to replace light bulb in shower and fix door bolt, which didn't engage. They said "of course". Nothing was done. No staff available after 8pm, no phone number to call so if there's a real problem you're on your own. Continental breakfast is a nice touch and is decent. Staff is friendly.

We loved the Continental breakfast and the location close to John's coffee shop and to Grand Central Station. The room was updated, clean, quaint and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the roof because there wasn't really a place to sit for an extended period of time in our room.

The room is small like advertised. What i didnt anticipate was how loud it would be. I barely slept the three nights i stayed there. Yes, they offer ear plugs.. The room is clean. The shower took almost 10 minutes to warm up. I asked the staff for a second room card and she said she would have to go downstairs. I have never checked in anywhere with two people and didnt get a scecond room key. Breakfast is very limited too.

Stayed with my 10 year old daughter for a 1 day blitz in NYC. The location on the east side of Midtown Manhattan is calm and felt safe, a 20-30 min walk to lots of action, and a 10 min walk to grand central station. The room was small but so eco-cozy and cute, and met our needs. Loved the setup of the bed by the window, and complimentary infused water and coffee/tea. The bed was crazy comfortable and firm-ish in the way that I like. The 4th floor rooftop was lovely and mindfully thought out in its design and use of the space. Loved the cityscape views from the rooftop too. We enjoyed the lobby area too bc of the large comfortable sectionals and chairs and pretty color palette. Overall vibe: chic, cozy, hip. TYSM! We enjoyed it and would return on our next trip to the City.

Great property. Rooms are SMALL, but we didn't really spend anytime inside except to come home and sleep since there is so much to do outside. Rooftop is ok, cute little bubbles for hanging out.

I love this little hotel. The room was tiny but felt perfect due to quiet, high ceiling storage and good design. Very Asian in feel. Loved it. I'll definitely book 'Little Charlie's again.

Great Option for Quick Trip

Little Charlie was the perfect accommodation for an overnight trip to NYC. Location is excellent, hotel is clean, and service is great. The double room is small but efficient. If you are sensitive to noise I recommend requesting a room that does not face 2nd Ave; while I loved sleeping in a window overlooking the street there was a good amount of noise (expected in NYC). Overall it was a great stay and I would choose Little Charlie again for a quick solo trip.
