Communication with staff was bad. We requested a non-slip mat for the bath tub twice. We were told it would be sent up. After third request they finally told us they didn't have them. Textured floor of tub was felt to be enough. This was a renovated room Inside of shower curtain had something funky going on. Quite gross.

Worth the stay.

I stayed in the hotel for 4 weeks in a junior suite (corner room) on the 50th floor. It was a recently refurbed room. I mainly booked it as it was close to where I was working and the views across Manhattan. The hotel is going through a refurb so has very little facilities (no restaurant etc). They do room service in the morning, but it comes in take away containers and with a plastic bag of confinement’s, not the nicest for a morning breakfast. About half the time only one lift was operating to the higher floors meaning sometimes it took 10-15 mins for a lift to come. When this is flagged to reception they just say they should be working shrug. One day I waited 20 mins to get in a lift as there was such a queue. I complained and to be fair to the hotel, they refunded 5 days of hotels fees. Although I understand they are refurbing the hotel, they should be more open about this as they didn’t seem to care. Overall, it’s worth the stay for the location and the views. The rooms are comfortable. Staff who clean the rooms are great!

It's a new Millennium

The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view. the staff was friendly and check-in was fast and easy. Luggage storage on our last day in the city was so convenient.

Horrible they only have 1 elevator available waiting for the elevator which took over 15 mins to get an available to fit 2 people we missed out on 2 reservations we had. One for dinner and one at the 911 museum which only allows a 10 minute grace period and tickets are none refundable

Checkin is at 4 pm. We arrived late around 6-630pm due to traffic. After checking in we were given a room, when we went upstairs to our room.... We found the room to be dirty, never cleaned from the guest before us. Towels used in the bathroom floor, bed unmade and used, in other words room was not ready for new guest yet. Went to front desk, they stated room should've been ready. were we sure? MM what reason would I not be sure? You may check yourself. After checking they gave us a different room but we did not get our city view as paid for. Disappointed!

My partner and I were stuck in an elevator at this hotel for over 20 minutes and the staff did not take this serious. The eventually sent engineering but no one was compassionate about the situation. Not as pictured on website for room. Nice view though
