I really enjoyed my stay at the Moxy in the Lower East Side it is near everything I needed to get to. There are two subway entrances about 3-5 mins away walking. It is very lively and plenty of people coming in and out. The employees at the reception desk were very helpful. Quiet rooms and beautiful views. I would definitely stay here again. It’s definitely a good bang for your buck.

The rooms are tiny with no closets or drawers. They leave televisions on in rooms that are ready for check in with loud techno pop music playing. That sound carries through to occupied rooms. Worst of all, I was hit with a $35 per night charge at checkout that was labeled as a "destination fee." I should have been informed about that fee when I made the reservation. Total rip-off.

Staff was over the top excellent, friendly, knowledgeable- whole ambiance was “classy”… great restraint, excellent cafe goodies(but really expensive), loved tv with Netflix, comfortable bed, had charging stations on both sides of both beds (great feature!), only complaint was shower was see thru- no good if want privacy, no room to stretch on the floor.
