Property in unacceptable condition & did not match listing. Host provided different address than on listing, listing photo shows a brownstone down the street, actual unit is located on fourth floor of an apartment building. No direct entry had to rely on any resident to open entry door. Unit door itself required force to open & close. Four steep uneven flights of stairs were not disclosed. Unit not clean, mold in shower, chipping paint in kitchen (potentially lead-based), stains on furniture, trash left in bathroom, on a bed, & on dressers. Floors dirty entire space dusty. Lacked basic amenities, No kitchen towels, no paper towels, no hand towels/washcloths. Did have two bath towels per bed & 1 partial roll of toilet paper for four people/4days!No Wi-Fi info, Host instructed to look under desk but was incorrect Wi-Fi, we located another router with correct Wi-Fi. No info/guide book for unit. Communication with host was inadequate. Contacted on missing basics, had 3 items delivered at midnight. Safety a concern. No fire/smoke or carbon monoxide detectors. Individuals on front steps all day/night, observed drug activity taking place on front steps. An uncomfortable & unsafe environment. No checkout instructions provided. Overall, property not safe, not clean, not accurately represented, not worth the price charged. Unfortunately VRBO did not provide any assistance in resolving ANY issues despite their guarantee.
