It is an older Hotel" but has lots of charm. The staff was awesome and attentive and accommodating throughout our stay. A Girls Trip Visit. I would choose The San Carlos Again for that friendly atmosphere. Andy and the tall Bell Man were so nice and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of all points of interest with a wonderful steak house restaurant across the street, safe and clean area

My family and I found the staff at this hotel to be excellent, polite and responsive. The hotel is near to our favorite restaurants and places we wanted to go. The suite was spacious and clean with excellent internet and comfortable beds. We would have given this property 5 stars BUT we had 1 major problem which caused us to give it a 3 star rating. The AC unit in the bedroom was loud and sounded like a truck was driving in the room! The noise impacted our sleep and made our stay very unpleasant. We were told they did not have enough rooms to switch us. Thankfully we had our noise cancelling earphones which helped reduce the noise. Because of this 1 negative issue with what would normally be an excellent suite, I do not think we will be returning to this hotel and we cannot recommend a stay there to our many friends who ask us for travel advice.

This is a nice boutique hotel with a residential feel. Our room was not as good as last stay-smaller bedroom and living room even though a higher category and room rate. Air conditioner in the bedroom was noisy, otherwise everything else was in good order. Bed was a little hard, pillows good. Nice location with lots of restaurants adjacent and walk to shopping. Overall a good value for the price.
