I have stayed at The Jewel for many years. The hotel doesn’t have any real amenities but what it lacks, it makes up for the location, walkable to 5th Ave & shops, safe and staff is friendly.

Location, location, location! Price, coffee machine on 2nd floor, and hydration stations make it our choice each time we visit. Parking is only $40 a day so that works when we drive into city.

This hotel is perfectly centrally located. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable. The rooms in some of the really nice hotels in midtown are freezing cold, but not here, even in the dead of winter.

Great stay - highly recommend!

The location could not have been any more perfect - literally a few steps from Rockefeller Plaza. The common areas were small - but the staff's warmth and helpfulness made it feel like home away from home. The hotel was also very clean and safe.
