We booked our room 3 weeks before, when We arrived they told us that they don’t have the room we booked because hotel was very crowded, We paid for a king bed room and they gave us a queen bed room no fare for us, they said they can give us free breakfast when the breakfast was free after we realized

My only (small) complaint is the heating/thermostat. Room temperature was 68 when I checked in, set thermostat for 74 degrees. By checkout day three days later, room temperature had reached only 70 degrees.

Showing up to a hotel (The Lexington) that you have stayed at many times in the past and finding out that your booking had been canceled - qualifies for one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. Challenges all around from what should be a premium stay and top of the line customer service. No options given and a continuous blame on Third Party services like Expedia were the reasons given for the simple fact that they were way over-booked. Ironic that I would walk next door to a Marriott Residence Inn and have an amazing stay.

excellent hotel and amenities. you have a starbucks inside, you can use the crunch gym next door. the area is amazing, not too crowded, but very convenient because it’s close to grand central station. you have dining options, very good ones, close to the hotel. the toscana49 restaurant close to it, it’s amazing. the only thing you have to keep in consideration, is that it’s a very crowded hotel, there’s always people in the lobby and the bar is right there open till 11pm. just in case you travel with little kids or don’t like crowded hotels. also there’s a $35 credit for you to use it since the first day, so take advantage of that, if you don’t use it, they’re going to charge it regardless, and it’s not transferable to the next day. but overall we enjoyed our stay there. rooms are amazing and very clean. staff is really nice as well. and the breakfast buffet is very good too.
