Fine for a night. Clean, safe, and reasonably quiet by city standards. Walking distance to Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, but if you’re dealing with lots of luggage, expect a long wait for the elevator, which was on the fritz for a few hours during our stay. Breakfast excellent, but it gets super-crowded at peak times, so maybe go a little later?

Perfect stay for QM2 transatlantic crossing

Our second stay and just as expected, kind professional reception and staff. Breakfast is full of healthy choices. Close to Brooklyn cruise terminal, for Cunard Queen Mary 2 transatlantic crossings!

We booked this hotel because we needed a place to stay before boarding our cruise and based on the reviews online. I paid over $400 for one night, and it was a terrible experience. The bed was as hard as cardboard, the pillows felt like $1 ones from Dollar Tree, and the AC was blowing right at the foot of the bed. I barely slept at all, and it ruined the first day of my trip. This hotel should be in the $100 per night range, not over $400. I honestly don’t understand how it has so many good reviews; please be honest and stop misleading people. Travelers deserve at least a comfortable night’s sleep for that price. I would rather take an overnight flight and sleep on the plane than rest in this hotel.

We were greeted by a very helpful receptionist who was happy to store our bags until we could Che k in which went very smoothly. Spacious and clean room and with a very large, comfy bed, ample towels and hot water. Window opened a little and there was air con if required. Tv had Netflix. Breakfast was ok but on a busy day arriving late you left you with limited options. Our one disappointment was only having a coffee maker not a kettle in the room for hot drinks.

Reason to stay- very close to cruise terminal. Room clean. Staff helpful. Free breakfast was good but need to get there early or limited selection left. I don't eat eggs etc but good selection of other items. Several restaurants close by for meals. Plus small store/deli close with good selections

I have a lot of breathing issues - previous pulmonary embolism, asthma, and severe allergies. I got to the hotel late in the afternoon. The moment I stepped into the room, I knew I couldn't stay there. My eyes started watering, and my throat was closing up. I took my albuterol emergency inhaler and returned downstairs to see if I could get another room. I was told no, and she said I didn't want the room! It wasn't that I didn't like it; I didn't want to wind up in the hospital ER at the beginning of my vacation. I asked for the manager, but he had gone home. I asked for his email so I could send an email explaining that this condition is life-threatening to me. He returned my email and said he couldn't reimburse me for my three paid nights since I booked through Expedia. I booked another hotel and left. The manager emailed again to say his team went to the room and couldn't find anything, causing my discomfort. I'm sure a doctor could weigh in here and tell them they wouldn't find anything if they didn't have breathing issues. I couldn't tell them what caused it, but I know that I couldn't stay there without health consequences. Expedia should check to see if the room was rented out those three nights, thus getting double pay!
