This is a very small hotel on Grand Street, very downtown in New York. It doesn't have the amenities of a large 4 star hotel but it is relatively inexpensive within steps of Chinatown and Little Italy and esy busride uptown on Madnison Avenue, well kept and friendly.

Good location. Rooms are very small. Tv barely works. Staff are very friendly. Toilet clogged and was fixed promptly. Shower drain and fixture could use some attention. Not exactly a sound proof room but then again it is NYC. Would recommend based on location, and friendliness of staff.

You can’t find a better location or value in SoHo but you do have to make some compromises like hard beds, and in our case with two queen sized beds, the windows aren’t sealed properly and the room got very drafty on the higher floors. They moved us to the 3rd floor and it was slightly better. Very nice staff. All for around $200 night including taxes and fees.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating: could use bathroom, was able to hold bags in the lobby before check-in and after check-out. Offered free pastries & coffee in the morning, cookies and lemonade in the afternoon. Close walk to the subway and shopping nearby. Location was great. Clean room and normal-sized space for NYC. 2-double bed room was two fulls. 3rd floor and could hear some people out Friday night but otherwise noise level wasn't too bad
