The room was very clean and comfortable. I had absolutely no problem getting the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I called, they answered immediately and each time, I was picked up quickly by a very friendly and polite driver. The neighborhood is fine and the hotel is directly across the street from a police station. There’s a cute coffee shop next door. It’s Flushing Queens so you need to set expectations accordingly. But this is absolutely a safe, clean quality place to stay. I was also very happy with the staff and how helpful everyone was! I noticed a lot of reviewers complaining about the lack of free water in the room - I was given water daily but all you have to do is bring a reusable water bottle and they have water stations on every floor where you can fill up as much as you want. This is what everyone is doing now. I don’t understand some of the criticisms about this hotel that I found online. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience there.
