The hotel itself was well maintained but what pissed me off was the fact that they used a fake photo of their parking lot and their actual space was nothing like the photo. I knew parking in Brooklyn was going to be an issue because I have a large pickup truck and parking spaces are limited which is why I selected a hotel on expedia with larger parking spots. Turned out they are using AI generated pictures and parking there was a nightmare. Never again

Lovely hotel. Front desk was the best! Great breakfast, good coffee. I’d stay again! The let me park for several hours after check out. Few blocks from subway, Park Slope, lots of good food nearby.

Tru by Hilton worked well for our stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The area was convenient for our stay. The only downside was the breakfast! Except for the great coffee the food was subpar. We’ve been to other places offering breakfast and they literally are mostly identical in offerings except for Tru. We saw empty containers day after day, measly apples and no other fruit-not even bananas! No hard boiled eggs and oatmeal was watered down! All that aside, we would return and hopefully see a bump up on the breakfast.

My check in was awful. Two people behind the desk and I had to ask is this where I check in? She was more concerned with her phone. If I didn't need to be in this area I would have just left and gone elsewhere. Unfortunately, hotels near Prospect Park are few. And she was rude..I was early so I wanted to make sure I could access my room and asked. The response was "well I gave you your key so.." I can't believe I paid so much for this..

it's comfy it's nice. the rooms are really nicely done - it is an area of brooklyn that gets pretty quiet around 12am - plenty of restaurants to choose from in any direction. It has a good subway on the corner of president st. Ubers available within minutes.

Nice, clean place to stay

It was a nice, clean place where I felt safe to spend the night with my daughter. (Less experienced travelers in NYC should make sure to make local transportation plans well in advance though. Parking's quite limited and what's there is very high demand. Make sure you're properly prepared for cab-hailing and Ubers, Lyfts, and such.)
