The hotel is very nice. The room was very neat and the beds very comfortable. But the front desk lady when we arrived at 2:50 pm, very rudely told us that check was not until 3 and because we were only staying one night, our room was not ready. Told to have a seat and they will let us know when the room was ready. At 3:30, I walked to the to ask how much longer it would take. The lady that was there was different and very nice. She apologized because our ROOM WAS READY ALL ALONG.

My daughter and I arrived early due to flight change which not their fault. We attempted to see if possible there was an early check in. The host behind the desk was so rude and inconsiderate. I get there was no open rooms but she just brushed us off after I explained we had no where to go and was seeking help. When asked if there was anything near by that boards room last minute she just shrugged and again brushed off. I asked if I could be placed on an early check in if someone checks out early and she didn’t answer even enter my information giving me the impression she again just brushed off all she stated was “well there’s no guarantee” I asked again if she could please just add us to the list just in case and she replied again well there’s no guarantees! Also to add the AC in the room did not work which made the sleep very uncomfortable. I would like to add the day staff was very helpful as my daughter and I arrived back around 1pm and after explaining my situation they got me a room within minutes. Mixed emotions as it angered me that it proved the lady helping me didn’t even write anything down or else if the room became available we would have got a room sooner. But I was very grateful for the staff to work quickly and get us a room. Over all the room was nice just wished the AC worked. Our checkin was as June 3 (we tried after midnight)

Well, half of our trip our AC was broken and they never came to fix it. They looked at it and said “oh well somebody is gonna have to come fix this” but it never got fixed. We had to stay in a hotel between 73-77 degrees F for half our trip. It was so hot. Other hand, they were extremely nice and helpful. I sprained my ankle and they let me use their wheelchair to go to urgent care.

This hotel is located on a quiet street close to transport hub Grand Central. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and is next to beautiful Park Ave. We stayed in a suite on the 15th floor that had a splendid view of the skyline, including the nearby Empire State Building. The elevators were fast and we hardly waited at all for them. The staff was always warm and friendly.

We were very leery after booking this through expedia. We tried multiple times (like 15+) in trying to contact the hotel to see about adding an extra night. The phones do not work at this hotel. Whether trying to call them before your trip or just calling down to the front desk from the room. They know about it and didn't seem to care. When we arrived, we found it to be a good, clean hotel. Check in was simple and the room was of good quality. The bed was soft and we slept well. We never felt unsafe walking the 3 blocks to Grand Central Terminal. This was a plus. We were 3 blocks from the subway and were within walking distance (for us) of Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Chrysler Building, and the Empire State Building.

Large rooms, high ceilings, never heard a neighbor. Close to midtown action, but not in the middle of it. Very convenient for north/ south bus travel. La Guardia about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Rooms have fridge and microwave, bring your own coffee or go to the bodega on Lexington!

My friend and I stayed at the Tuscany in May 2025 for 7 nights. It was my 4th time visiting New York from Australia. The location of the property is excellent! We walked to most landmarks with the Chrysler Building visible from our room and Grand Central Terminal just a couple blocks away. Time Square, Central Park, Flatiron and Empire State were all walking distance. The room was large and bathroom was modern. The Expedia listing and hotel website both listed laundry facilities were available. The Expedia listing read as if there would be laundry facilities in our room, further investigation on the website said it would be available within hotel. Unfortunately when we asked the receptionist looked at us as if we were speaking a different language and told us no laundry was available. When we asked another staff member they mentioned there was a laundromat just across the street which was convenient. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would choose this option again.

Great location and only 3 blocks away from Grand Central station. Walkable to Rockefeller center and Empire State Building. There was some issues with the room mainly the bathroom. The towel rack was coming off the wall and the mirror light burned out. And there was no hand soap. Even asked room service and front desk but they said they don’t carry hand soap for the bathrooms. Rooms seemed pretty outdated for the times. Restaurant in the lobby was pretty good.
