While we really liked the hotel itself, the location for us was EVERYTHING. A subway station at the end of the block took us to the heart of Times Square to see shows. Great coffee shops & cafes abound, there’s a fabulous market at the end of the block with an extensive salad/hot food bar which we used a LOT to save money. Front desk staff were friendly. This will be our new “go-to” place to stay in NYC.

We loved this hotel! It is charming and old but everything essential (beds, bathrooms) has been updated. The restaurant downstairs is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a drink in the bar. The hotel is in a wonderful part of Manhattan, near Washington Square Park, which is a great area for shopping and restaurants. It is also near a metro stop. We would definitely return!

Hotel is in a great location opposie Washington square park. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of bars and restaurants close by. There is a subway station within a 5 minute walk. Ideal for exploring Greenwich Village.

Close to NYU , subway station and the West village. Great coffee places around the area. Staff were nice and helpful. It rained during our stay and our room had a nice big umbrella for us to use. Beds were very comfortable. One suggestion is to offer free water for their guests either in the lobby or in their room. The chair in our room was more like a banquet chair rather then a hotel chair. We’d stay again mainly for the location.
