This is a great place. Excellent staff. The subway was a block away. The Village is full of great restaurants and shopping. Easy to get from airport to hotel. I will always stay here

A great place to stay in NYC. Surprisingly quiet and the shower pressure was terrific! Love the handmade tile art that can be found on just about every wall in the lobby and other places. FYI - The property is starting rehab on the lounges (2026), and neither were open for drinks

Great location. Fun historic building. Outdated bathrooms. Worst part was an uncomfortable bed with bad pillows. Also, hard to control the temperature in the room. Will only stay here if I needed to be in Greenwich Village, otherwise I will skip it next time. Also we paid a "low price" would be really unhappy if I paid a "normal" or high rate.

Room was not so wide but enough for us (two persons). Interia was pretty, Only issue might be no refrigerator (no problem for winter stay, but might be an issue for summer stay). Complimentary breakfast is good as well. Location was excellent!! Washington square is very close. So many metro stations, dinning places, jazz clubs, etc, etc, but it is very quiet at night.
