The hotel staff were fabulous. We stayed here five years ago and nice to see some of the same staff. Service was exceptional. Rooms were clean. The room was clean and well appointed. The heat/ac unit works great, which is important to me. Included in the extra fee is a breakfast and dinner (with complimentary wine and beer) that is exceptional. Lots of good food and yummy desserts. Staff are terrific. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Carnegie Hall, which is extremely convenient. The happy hour provided by the hotel was substantial enough to count as dinner and was filling, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was very satisfying. The staff handling luggage storage were especially friendly. Before we got our room, we went in and out several times, and they patiently helped us retrieve our belongings each time.
