Nice, clean, comfortable place to stay.

We went into our room and there was left over food in the refrigerator and a cigarette butt in the dresser drawer. I immediately went to the front desk and they changed our room. This was our third stay and we have never had any issues with the hotel before and this will not stop us from staying there again when we cruise out of NY in the future. The hotel is very convenient to Penn Station Newark and we appreciate the shuttle service.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time, there were some issues with the room that was assigned to me. They had to switch me room due to the unsafe condition of the room. The second time was a shock to me. I got to the hotel at around 12:30 am. After a long day of work, I just needed to rest and have a good night of sleep. They assigned me a room right next to the only working elevator available. I asked to be moved to another room, but the attempt was unsuccessful. I even offered to pay more so I could get a better room location. I should have known better. This is definitely my last.

The night concierge called me at 2:45 in the morning... and during check-in, there was a guest who complained and was given an occupied room... I think they don't have a good grasp of the hotel's availability.
