Restroom counter had two large cracks that were poorly repaired. Curtain was torn and too narrow for frame and bright flood lights shined thru all night. A bagel and granola bar was it for “breakfast” which is not a meal. Carpet was dirty along edges. Hall carpet was dirty & damaged. Decor was dated. Very expensive for a bottom level hotel. We’ll never stay at a Howard Johnson again!

Room was clean and tidy, but for being non-smoking it had a smokey aroma to it. Breakfast was bagels, granola bars, coffee, tea, juice. Nothing special, but I thought there would have been more options (fruit, yogurt).

There was no continental breakfast, mold in the hallways, cobwebs in the bathroom, overall not worth the price…. they really need to do work instead of just patching it up to make it look somewhat pretty.

There were cobwebs in the corner of the bathtub so obviously the tub was not wiped down entirely. The room itself was clean but the hotel overall is in need of updates. Hallway carpet appears worn. All interactions with staff were excellent. They were helpful and pleasant. For the price of the room, the breakfast should have been more than a granola bar and bagel.

This hotel is seriously misrepresented by the pictures. When we pulled up to the parking, the hotel looked like it was abandoned and the building was in disrepair. I thought we entered the wrong address because the hotel and lobby look nothing like in the pictures. The area felt sketchy and generally unsafe. We checked in and tried to get in the room but the key didn’t work so we took it as a sign and decided to immediately check out. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful and was the only positive to this experience but Orbitz needs to remove this hotel from their listing or put real pictures of what it looks like so you know what your paying for because this is not honest advertising.

Hallway smells. Doors to hallway don't latch. Room bathroom had leak from ceiling pipes that smelled. Granite countertop over toilet is broken with two foot crack completely through the granite. We had to be moved to another room. Manager and staff smokes close to the door outside so that guests have to walk through the smoke. Breakfast consists of only two different bagel types. Coffee, brown orange juice and apple juice. No eggs or other protein. Pathetic to call it breakfast. Manager unwilling to compensate for the two hour inconvenience of relocating to another room because I booked on Expedia. Will never book this poorly maintained dump again.

NO BREAKFAST!

We could tell that this had once been a very nice hotel, but h fallen into disrepair. We could also tell that the current owners are trying to bring this place back, but so far have not been very successful. When we first entered the building, there was a bad odor in the hallway. The desk clerk had an attitude of indifference. She quoted me a price that was more than the price on Hotels.com, and when I asked if she could match it, she said that I would have to book it online to get that price. So I stood in the lobby and booked the room on my phone ... pretty stupid. The room seemed clean enough, but the sheets made us itchy ... probably the detergent that they use. There were several small maintenance issues with the room, but nothing terrible. The kicker was when we went down for breakfast. There was coffee, juice, and packaged granola bars ... that's all. I would not recommend staying here until they get their act together.

The first floor smelled weed / cigarette and moldy as did both rooms. Bathtub was clogged in 1 room. Housepeeking did not empty garbage in bathroom or changed soap in the other room. Both rooms smelled moldy. Told the front desk at check out and she just respond with “ok”. Young lady at the check-in was probably the best part of the the stay.
