Staff were friendly enough but didn't offer much help when I was asking about breakfast when I checked in. I was told by the receptionist that I needed to book at the restaurant, and the first person in the restaurant had to ask for someone else. Not too bad

The room was ok as a large ish single rather than small double. I wouldn't like to think of two of us in it. It was quite dated but very clean. The bed would have been comfortable if it didn't dip down at the edge making me feel like I was going to fall out. I had to sleep on the side against the wall. The only real complaint was that it was incredibly hot in there even with the fan on all night.
