The lady on reception when we arrived was very abrupt and not customer focused very unpleasant experience. The lady in the bar was also very poor, although one one of the waiters was 100%. The room was ok but there was a noise all night. I contacted reception and they said it would stop in 20 mins it didn’t.

Staff great. Food OK for a hotel, beer ok. The problem was the temperature. In the reception and bar area they kept the inside doors open on a freezing cold day, so every time the outside doors opened, we got blasted. Hotel room was either too hot, or too loud with the aircon on.

This hotel needs an update . Rooms are dated and shabby bar area is small and cramped not a great example of a Hilton .

The breakfast is the reason for the 4 star. The choices were good but the food temperature was below below recommended requirements. I would recommend the hot plates need upgrading or set up earlier to keep the good hot.

We had booked a double room but there was none left when we arrived. We were given a wheelchair user room. The problem for us was that the sink was low, the toilet high and the wet room shower had special aid equipment in which made it awkward for a standing person to shower around. We prefer to lower a toilet lid to stop droplets being in the air around our toothbrush. The disabled toilet did not have a lid

The extension room for the bar was really cold, when guests asked the staff about putting the fire on the reply was 'no the fire isnt on today. Some of the staff werent very customer friendly.
